Emily Pavuluri, Associate Director of VAILL, told Legal Tech News that this type of training can also give students a feel for the type of litigation they may want to pursue after graduation, and noted that Vanderbilt often adopts the same technology being used at leading law firms so students are prepared when they enter the industry.

The piece also highlights that simulations serve as an additional resource alongside Vanderbilt's clinical opportunities, and that the VAILL team is exploring ways to bring DepoSim to students through competitions and student society programming. DepoSim is continuing to expand into new practice areas including antitrust and mass torts.
