I'm receiving a "SCORM error" when I try to view learning content.

Your network settings could cause a "SCORM error" when viewing content or playing videos.

If you see an error that reads "The SCORM player has determined that your Internet connection is unreliable..." or displays similar language, this means that your browser is having difficulty establishing a reliable connection to the servers hosting our learning content.

This is almost always caused by an issue with your organization's network configuration. Different offices may have different network settings, and some may prevent or "throttle" access to external servers that are not "safe-listed."

We recommend taking the following steps if you see the above error:

  • Contact your IT department and ask if https://app.altaclaro.com has been safe-listed.
  • Contact support@altaclaro.com so that we are aware of the issue--it may affect multiple users, and as soon as we know about it, we can reach out to your organization's IT department.
  • As a temporary workaround, try accessing the app via a different network, such as a guest wifi network (these networks typically don't have the same network restrictions).
