Andrew Curtin is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Global Investigations at American International Group (“AIG”). Andrew investigates employee, agent and vendor fraud, with a focus on forensic investigations of financial reporting, fraud and misconduct, corruption and accounting matters.

Prior to joining AIG in 2015, Andrew served for over a decade as a Managing Director at KPMG, where he conducted internal investigations with a focus on providing investigative advisory services and conducting cross-border corruption and fraud investigations. Before that he spent five years as Associate General Counsel at Citigroup.

Earlier in his career, Andrew spent almost two decades as a prosecutor, first as Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s Office and then as First Assistant Deputy Attorney General for the State of New York’s Organized Crime Task Force.

Jon Abernethy represents clients in white collar criminal and regulatory investigations, internal investigations, and complex commercial litigation. He is a recognized authority on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and regularly advises global companies on FCPA matters.

Additionally, he represents companies and individuals in sensitive investigations and prosecutions involving securities fraud, money laundering, wire and mail fraud, public corruption, antitrust, commodities fraud, health care fraud, and other white collar matters. He has extensive experience with various U.S. Attorney's Offices, the Department of Justice, the SEC, the CFTC, the New York Attorney General’s Office, and the Manhattan D.A.'s Office.

Prior to joining the firm, Jon served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where he was a lead prosecutor on FCPA, money laundering, and financial fraud cases, and practiced at Fulbright & Jaworski.
