Ascension Stories (#5, Part I): Audrey Ingram

Audrey Ingram is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP and one of Diversity Journal's Women Worth Watching in 2017. She represents clients in complex civil and white collar criminal litigation, involving a range of issues, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act, insider trading, accounting fraud and money laundering. Audrey also regularly advises international companies regarding anti-corruption due diligence in connection with corporate acquisitions and other business transactions.

In Part I of the fifth episode of Ascension Stories, Audrey touts the role of outstanding, collaborative mentorship in her own ascension. She also speaks to the importance of building teams with diverse backgrounds, as clients rely on outside counsel to identify and implement innovative solutions to quickly evolving legal challenges.

Audrey's career and practice are powerful illustrations of the value of taking the long view in your career, and combining a tenacious work ethic with an honest assessment of (and attention to) your personal interests and well-being.
